Stratioceros princeps
Longhorn measuring around 3.5cm. Cryptic colouration, making it very difficult to spot among vegetation. A grey/brown line runs down the centre, fringed by a pattern of large dark spots, and a pale outline of thorax and abdomen.
Found in dense tropical rainforest during a climb of the Khao Phanom mountain in Krabi province.
Princeps is the only species in the Stratioceros genus.
