Description:

Triangular; rather like a fighter jet in shape. Goldeny-brown with triangular black marks that look as if holes have been punched in its wings. The lower edge of the wings have a row of tiny black dots.

Habitat:

Drawn to the porch light of the cottage at Village Kolakham; a remote, forested area. Altitude 1868m in the Kalimpong Hills of Darjeeling District, on the fringes of Neora Valley National Park.

Notes:

The moths disappear when day breaks and hide inside flowers, bushes and on the trees nearby.
