Clonopsis gallica
Stick insect belongs to the Phasmatodea order. Bacillidae family. Phasmid means means ghost, because of its abillity to hide during the day. It measures up to 5 cm and with the legs extended it can reach 9 cm. 2/3 of them are green and 1/3 beige. They are active during the night and do not move during the day. When they are discovered fall to ground streching the legs and remain moveless to look like a fallen twig. If they are seized they will loose a leg with facility. This species is a stable, obligate parthenogen

Finally identified as Clonopsis gallica, in the Bacillidae family. Phasmatodea order.
Sorry Argy Bee, I was not clear enough. Cytisus is a genus in the legume family. Cytisus scoparius, the main plant that Pijnackeria hispanica eats is known in English as common broom or Scotch broom.
Super photos Arlanda. Color and light is great. Those mouth parts in pic 1 are a bit creepy. I'm not clear about 'related to Citysus' - is this another phasmid species? or must be a plant because phasmids are vegetarians..?
Gracias Eulalia
Genial serie.
