Hi there. I've moved your spotting to the Arthropods category. Is this a monarch butterfly chrysalis? I'm guessing based on the caterpillar above it in the photo. If so, you can edit your spotting and label it as such and include the scientific name for that species. Also, the "Butterflies and Moths of the World" mission would be perfect for this one:
