The bearded dragon has loose skin around its neck which it can use to create a threatening display with the outstretched neck and open mouth for added impact..

Habitat:

Roadside arid grassland.

Notes:

This seemingly docile dragon would not stay for a photo without being held.

Thanks Jack. Its the first wild one I'd seen. It knew not to struggle but when released, it was immediately gone.
