Zelus cf. longipes
This Zelus Assassin Bug looks very much like the Bordered plant bug, maybe it is a form of deception. Famili Reduviidae.
Arid with some shrubs.
Thank you Bayucca for the ID and the multiple links. I keep going to tjhe same place every week to walk the dogs and there is always something "new" to be dicover.
Most probably a Zelus sp. and possibly Zelus longipes, assuming the IDs of the ones in the links are correct...

But in the meanwhile I have some doubts about Zelus longipes as ID...
