Song Sparrow

Melospiza melodia

Description:

Sparrow singing on a small tree next to an open field. Looks kind of like a song sparrow, but doesn't have the black dot on the breast. It flew off before I could get a better picture. I haven't tried to ID it yet.

Thanks all, I was thinking song sparrow but as ashleyt said the angle makes it difficult, just wanted to get others opinions

Who ever said it was a Lincoln's sparrow, Josh?

Lincoln's Sparrows have never been recorded in Michigan in March before.

Looks like a song sparrow to me. I see what looks like a spot on the chest in the third photo, the bird is just sitting sideways so you can barely see it
