Dragonfly

Dragonfly. Transparent wings. Dark colour.

Habitat:

We were at Hampi, Karnataka, India exploring the ruins when I spotting this one sitting on the inside wall of an excavated tank (dry). I needed the zoom because there was no way I could have come close to it. I had to photograph it from across the expanse of the tank ...i.e., the opposite side from where it was. Had I crossed to its side of the tank I could not have got a snap of its body
