Description:

Photo take at my backyard flowers from the spinach tree plant are everywhere. Upperside brown with faint markings. Leading edge of forewing curved and with a white dash, about 3 cm wingspan. has a cipper-brown color and a white mark on the middle top wing.

Habitat:

Seasonally dry thorn forest and subtropical forests. Found from Guatemala north through Mexico; a rare stray to the lower Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.
