Thamnophis fulvus
Baby snake. 25cm long, very agressive, and fast. Ranera Montana, Listonada Amarillenta The Mesoamerican highlands garter snake inhabits several scattered regions throughout the inland Yucatan peninsula in Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatamala. This snake has a very triangular-shaped head for garters, and a scale pattern that looks very much like a hazy stripe-less Eastern garter. The yellowish dorsal stripe is thin to poorly defined, the black markings along the flank can be large and bar-like or even occur in zig-zags along the body, interspersed with white.
Sub-tropical mountain forest in Guatemala at 1800 msn.
Found just outside the door of my parents house. Es una especie amenazada en El Salvador y estable en Honduras
