Description:

Smooth, light brown-capped mushrooms growing gregariously on a pine cone. Stipes are smooth and cream to light brown in color. A white network of mycelia run across the surface of the pine cone. Spore print is very pale yellow to cream.

Habitat:

Bottom of forest ridge, growing in thick (damp) mulch/leaves on pine cones. In a dense mixed hardwood forest in Northwest Georgia.
