Lampornis calolaemus
That pictured is a female, who does not exhibit the namesake "purple-throat." It inhabits only a small area from southern Nicaragua through northern Costa Rica, and down to western Panama.
This hummingbird was spotted east of the Poas Volcano in Costa Rica. It inhabits woodlands and rainforest up to 8,000 feet.
