Description:

These larvae of the Hesitant Dagger Moth are usually found on leaves of Red Oak and White Oak (preferred food source).

Habitat:

Found on an oak leaf at Pinnacle Mountain State Park.

Notes:

Range : Nova Scotia to South Carolina, west to Texas, north to Ontario.
