Description:

Medium sized moth. Wing bears patterns of grey (like floating monsoon clouds) on white. Mustard yellow pattern on neck rather like a ruff or collar and on the hind wings. The horizontal pattern on the hind wings extends a long way. Abdomen is bright yellow with black spots.

Habitat:

Village Kolakham; a remote, forested area on the Indo-Nepal border.This place is situated at an altitude of 1868m in the Kalimpong Hills of Darjeeling District, on the fringes of Neora Valley National Park.

Notes:

Very similar to https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/15... but the yellow and black pattern on the wing is not identical.
