A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
At around 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon, the lawnmower man came over, to mow my lawn. I forgot to tell him, not to cut down, any of my favorite plants and flowers, that were near the front door. After the lawn mower man finished mowing the lawn, he left. The lawnmower man, did cut down some of my favorite plants and flowers. On one of the green plant leaves, I spotted one land snail. It started to rain, so I brought the green plant leaf, and the one land snail, back into my house, to photograph. This land snail is alive, and able to move...
Land snails, are the most widely distributed invertebrates, around the world. Snails, inhabit places ranging from sunny urban gardens, to remote mountainous regions with cold climates.
I spotted this land snail, resting on a leaf of a green plant, that was growing in one of my gardens.
