Banksia serrata well known in the May Gibbs stories & illustrations as Old Man Banksia; also Saw Tooth Banksia, red honeysuckle, saw banksia. The flowers can vary in size/length as can the growth of the plant from prostrate to shrub to tree size. Drips with nectar & birds love them.
