Description:

The American red squirrel is also known as pine squirrel, boomers, or chickarees. Their diet is specialized on the seeds of conifer cones. They are larger than chipmunks.

Habitat:

Our ten acre partially wooded rural property.

Notes:

These squirrels are fun to watch though they can be destructive.
