Heliconius cydno galanthus x Heliconius melpomene
This is a hybrid of the Heliconius cydno galanthus (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/150...) and Heliconius melpomene (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/150...) longwings. The white substance on the probiscus is pollen. Thanks to bayucca...
Butterfly Pavillion, Mexico City Zoo
yes bayucca, I noticed the similarity, thought it might be a hybrid.
I have another one that only has a narrow white band on the upper wing. Those butterflies must have been up to some serious hanky-panky!
I'll post it next.

Interesting one, compare to your other picture:

That one is the native Heliconius cydno galanthus.
It is a hybrid of Heliconius cydno galanthus and Heliconius melpomene, with more Cydno than Melpomene, so scientific name would be Heliconius cydno galanthus x Heliconius melpomene hybrid.
