Eurybrachid Planthopper Nymph

Family Eurybrachidae

Description:

5mm bug with long white tail plumes. Very active and can see some distance so they are hard to photograph.

Habitat:

This is a nocturnal image on a gum tree in a local wooded area by the coast surrounded by suburban back yards

Notes:

Not totally sure this image is good enough to use but I see these things all the time and always have problems with focus as they are quick even at night Around here they are most likely nymphs to Platybrachys barbata or Platybrachys vidua or Platybrachys decemmacula
