Green Heron

Description:

Medium sized bird with predominantly Red and Blue plumage with yellow legs and feet. The greenish wing feathers give it its name

Habitat:

Wetlands where it stands very still and suddenly spears its prey with the sharp pointed beak

Notes:

When angry or startled it has a comb that it raises on its head.
