Robust Toad Lubber

Phrynotettix robustus

Description:

Robust Toad Lubber (Phrynotettix robustus), about 1 inch (25.5 mm) long. Pale tan-grey coloration, perfect for the surrounding limestone. Found in my garden bed.

Habitat:

In my garden bed, situated right next to open shrubby desert in the Chihuahuan desert.

Notes:

This is the second time I have seen the robust toad lubber. First time near my home though. It was a nice surprise to see him in my garden.
