Crown and throat are black. The back is gray, cheek and belly are white and beige sides. The beak is black, short and straight. Both sexes are similar.
Lives in forests, parks, countryside and suburbs, where it is very present in our feeders. Present throughout the province of Quebec south of James Bay.
It is often recognized by the peculiar cry tit tchikadi-di-di ... which has earned its name in English.
