Yellow -crowned Woodpecker

Leiopicus mahrattensis

Description:

Woodpecker with a rounded head (yellowish)

Habitat:

Yala National Park. WE were lined up to see a Leopard and unless the vehicles in front moved the others down the line had little chance to spot it. We were bored when my sister spotted this bird.
