Trichostema dichotomum
Common throughout Florida and the eastern half of North America, including the southern provinces of Canada. In Florida, it naturally occurs in a wide variety of well-drained habitats and colonizes disturbed sites fairly quickly as well.
There were a few of this diminutive flowers blooming through out the under brush of this coastal hammock. A closer look at the tiny flowers reveals a truly beautiful structured and patterned marvel.
