Notes:

ENGLISH VERSION HERE:

Cyrtomon is a genus of beetles belonging in the order Coleoptera, suborder Polyphaga, infraorder Cucujiformia, superfamily Curculionoidea, family Curculionidae, subfamily Entiminae and tribe Naupactini. During a study, paired adults of Cyrtomon weevils began to mate two days after emergence, proceeding to mate repeatedly and with increased frequency as they aged. Chemical communication in Cyrtomon weevils is likely mediated by an aggregation pheromone produced by males, which is the most active sex in the mating system. Cyrtomon weevils' (such as Cyrtomon luridus) host plants often include Solanaceae like Duboisia sp..
