A small pelagic gull which breeds on coastal cliffs but spends most of its life at sea. Occasionally seen in coastal areas and breeding on tall buildings In the breeding season they are abundant in the sea and on the cliffs around Flamborough Head where they mix with other cliff-breeding species..
