Pied Imperial Pigeon

Description:

These pigeons can be up to 42 cm. They are nomadic and are sporadically found in all islands around Borneo. They can even fly to mainland to feed and return to the island to roost. They are actually white and black (the yellow tone in the picture is due to the tree shadow).

Habitat:

Lankayan Island, Sabah.
