Growing under silver birch along with these mushroom spottings: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/216... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/212... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/215... reaction pinky brown to iron salts. Spore print white. I can't remember whether it was spicy or not. R. luteotacta, R. betularum, R. exalbicans, R. gracillima, R. fragilis (R. fragilis has gills with nicks in/ serrated gills).
