Flaming Torch

Billbergia pyramidalis

Description:

I spotted a red tropical flower, starting to bloom, on October 1, 2017. This flower, was on the left, front side of my house, about seven feet from the front door. The leaves were green.

Habitat:

This red flower, was growing in my front yard, next to some green bushes.

Notes:

I spotted this red flower, growing in my front yard, on October 1, 2017. For the last few days, it has been very, very, windy outside, so, today is the first day, in a while, that I was able to take some photos of this red flower.
