This beetle was about 1/2 inch long and seemed quite content to let me photograph it at quite close range.

Alpine Cloud Forest at 2200 meters

You can always filter by organism type, unidentified or identified, and then search a word in your own spotting collection. That's what I do and those filters usually narrow it down enough for me to only bring up a few results. Hope that helps :)

No link to my previous one, bauycca, but anyway, how do you find them?(My past photos that is) I have thousands of photos after my last CR ones, and the search engine seems not very accurate ! I can never seem to pull up what I want. Always end up pulling up page after page and hoping I don't hit on a photo and have to start again !!

Cercopidae, Spittlebug or Froghopper. I'll try to get closer.
I add a link from a previous one of yours, just for documentation and help for my further search. Personally I do not think it is the same, but might be the same genus.
