Mantis

Hierodula sp

Description:

This little Mantis was one among the many insects which were inactive that misty morning. This guy was occasionally moving with an exaggerated slowness which reminded me about the phrase "{chilled to the bone". He was beautifully camouflaged. Took a while to find him again when I returned to him after a few minutes. :-)

Habitat:

Grassland beside a reservoir.
