Checkered beetle (Clerid beetle)

Description:

12mm long beetles with sparkly elytra and thorax. Dense white setae seen on legs and underside. antennae appeared beaded (could be serrated) with club shaped tips.

Habitat:

Spotted feeding on flowers of the willow myrtle (Agonis flexuosa)
