Evia Bellflower

Campanula incurva

Description:

A wild native campanula with large oblong tubular flowers, in light blue/purple color, spotted in Tsagarada village, Pelion mountain, Greece. Usually the plant only grows the first year and the second year it blooms, and dies thereafter, but in Pelion where it is in it's natural environment, it is one of the commonest and more beautiful campanullas, although it is considered rare for the rest of the country.
