A smallish lizard in a rural garden. This seems to be the female.

Habitat:

Cloud forest, 2200 meters in the Talamanca Mountains of southern Costa Rica.

OK Daniele. The folks that live there refer to this area as Alpine Cloud forest, they say it's the only one in CR, that's why I added it in. It is definitely different from the other cloud forests I have been to in CR. Freezing at night ! I needed 5 blankets and a hot water bottle... Peaches, apples and berries even grow there.
