Great Blue haron in a river close to Susquehannah State Park

Habitat:

These birds are commenly found in open water regions or in wetlands. These Birds can be round year residents in colder places such as Maryland, however most of them will be migrant moving to thwe south during the turn of fall into winter. Seen in North, and central America; even the Caribean.
