Description:

Diurnal, terrestrial, and lives in complex, mixed-gender social groups of eight to 200 individuals per troop. This troop at Namizimu forest reserve was particularly mischievous, constantly coming around the lodge, mostly unafraid of humans, as in the case in a number of places around Africa.

Habitat:

miombo woodland, 1000m, Kenya and Tanzania to Zimbabwe and Botswana

Notes:

These baboons were around the Namizimu lodge almost daily.
