Description:

Color: Black and white pattern in cephalothorax and abdomen. Size: Cephalothorax – 2 mm x 3 mm; Abdomen- 2 mm x 3.5 mm; leg I- 4 mm; leg II- 4 mm; leg III- 4 mm; leg IV- 4 mm.

Habitat:

Mangrove forest. Found on the upper leaf surface.

This is a mysterious spider that I have spotted a few times in my area too.
Based on it's shape and abdominal patterns, I am guessing it is a species of Carrhotus. http://www.jumping-spiders.com/php/p.php...
At least 2 Carrhotus species are recorded in The Philippines.
