Spiny Dogfish

Description:

A type of shark. This was a young one. They can get as big as 3.5 to 5.5. Named for the two spines, one on each dorsal fin. Unlike most sharks, this one lacks an anal fin.

Habitat:

Shallow waters of the bay.

Notes:

This was released back into the bay
