Molothrus ater

Description:

Brown-headed Cowbirds are a smaller, stocky blackbird with a shorter tail and thicker head than most blackbirds. Males have a glossy black body with a brown head.

Habitat:

"You’ll find Brown-headed Cowbirds in many open habitats, such as fields, pastures, meadows, forest edges, and lawns" Rather than build their own nests, the females lay eggs in other birds' nests, sometimes destroying the host's own eggs.
