Habitat:

This rare grasshoper was possing for my camera on a old blue truck at an oil well platform surrounded by orange crops. Near to Alamo, Veracruz.

Machi, thanks for the ID, I have not idea about its name. I have found several awasome animals in an area practically denuded of its original medium and high humid forest, and converted to almost pure orange crops, at the northest of Veracruz State, Mexico.

I think Lichenomorphus carlosmendesi, but I can't find many pictures to compare

vaya que si es raro, camuflageado de liquen. No habia visto uno de estos, no cabe duda de que cada dia puede uno sorprenderse con algo nuevo para los ojos.
