Townsend's Solitaire

Description:

Gray thrush species with a white eyering. Can be mistaken for species as the Mockingbird, Clark's Nutcracker and the Gray Jay.

Habitat:

Prefers higher altitude in Pine and Juniper trees.

Notes:

This was spotted on a juniper tree. In the area it is just the remains of large fire that burnt most of the trees. Most of the wildlife is gone.
