Description:

This planthopper nymph looks like it has an exposed spine :) It was only 3mm long with red eyes, very dark red body and a light stripe down the back from nose to "tail". The legs are the same light color as the stripe.

Habitat:

Porch light in backyard oak woodland. Found in the southwestern US, in to Mexico
