Javan myna, white-vented myna

Acridotheres javanicus

Description:

A member of the starling family from southeast Asia. It is omnivorous and can imitate other bird species vocalizations. This birds was eating fallen fruit as well as filching food scraps from plates.

Habitat:

Singapore Botanic Gardens. By an open air restaurant at the visitor center.
