Pied Flycatcher

Ficedula hypoleuca

Description:

Sparrow sized flycatcher, but a bit more elongated and elegant. I believe this was a female, all dull-brown above with a white patch on darker wing; and all white or cream-white below.

Habitat:

Here seen on edges of protected marshlands of Geneva suburbs, Mategnin-les-Fontaines, in between them and a cultivated field.
