Thyene sp.
Small female spider about 1 cm in length with its prey, a Large Salmon Arab (Colotis fausta) caterpillar.
Spotted on the caper bush (Capparis sp) in my desert garden
Thanks, elhennawy! You know your spiders!!
The salticid Thyene sp.
No, I don't, Jolly. But I'll keep my eye out for one!
Hi Bernadette, do you have a spotting of the famous scarab beetle associated with the Pharaohs?
Thanks everyone! I've posted another spotting of this spider here: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/158...
This is a jumping spider (Salticidae), but I can't tell the exact species.
Fantástico::
Great you should find out what type of spider it is
Wow that is some meal. Must have 'upsized'.
Thanks, Luis! I've got more photos of this spider to post, too - in her web and with her mate. My entertainment yesterday. :-)
Great spotting Bernadette
