Simi open areas with some woods, lives out in the country where land isn't so well developed. They like it where their is open areas and often times found (like this one) on a perch. they also like open fields.

Notes:

This little guy was almost missed if my mom hadn't of jammed on the breaks and backed up so I could get it's picture. he stayed for a good while and looked as if he was just really wanting his picture taken. This little bird can do all sorts of tricks the flycatchers are known for their odd flying patterns and aerobatics. They make a funny twittering sound while in flight or fighting off other rivals. They don't have much color to them but they are exquisite little birds that love the country.
