Potter Wasp nest

Eumeninae

Description:

Mud "house" with an opening on the bottom end. The first and last image are with me pulling the twig sideways to get a photo of the entrance. At first, it looked like a mud clog stuck on a branch about waist high. Nothing flew out or in while I was looking at it.

Habitat:

Dead bush in coastal scrub next to Lake Hodges.
