Description:

Another Beautiful jumping spider...these guys are very few here...Epocilla is a genus of the spider family Salticidae .. These spiders are primarily natives of southeast Asia. As most jumping spiders, they hunt prey by jumping, secured to a location by a thread of silk. The genus name comes from ἘEpocillus, a soldier of Alexander the Great.
