This barred owl single handedly changed the direction of my life. I feel honoured to have been able to spend so much time with him. I was awarded with some great images, but mostly with a feeling of being free, and removed from society and all the negativity it brings with it. My heart will forever be with this bird, I will never forget him and the great things he has done for my life. This was the last time I ever saw him. After spending 5 months around this owl, I feel like it was kind of his way of saying good bye.
