Common Buzzard

Description:

The Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo) is a medium to large European bird of prey, whose range extends into Asia. This broad-winged raptor has a wide variety of plumages, and preys on rodents, birds, amphibians, reptiles, insects and earthworms.

Habitat:

A wooded area with access to farmland.

Notes:

Spotted circling high above my house.
